What you are witnessing right now in Cristiano and Messi is something you probably won't witness again in a while and that is two genuine world class talents going at it to be the best in the world. It's called knowing your footballing history. I knew who Maradona was at 11. Then again, I grew up watching him. But I certainly knew who Pele was and I wasn't alive to see him play.

As for the OP, I'll put him top 50 BUT I do think if I wrote the list he could make it on the top 30. Would have to write one down but as of right now, I believe I could name 30 better players. |

It's that situation though isn't it. Is Henry better than Maldini for example? I'd rather have Henry up top but I'd rather have Maldini as a defender so how can you possibly say who's better etc. |

Top 10-25 overall. Top 5/10 strikers in history IMO. One of best and most effective players I've ever seen. Perfect combination of speed, technique, skills and leadership ability to motivate and make a team better just by his presence on the pitch alone. Pleasure to watch.
The Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Vieira, Ljungberg, Cole etc is one of the greatest teams of all time. I was never close to an Arsenal fan(Always a huge Henry fan)but that team was something special and when Henry came back and scored last year? An amazing moment that I will never forget.

Definitely the greatest premier league player of all time. Pace, power and was unplayable for about a good 3 years. Even though people knew what he was going to to do ( his signature cut in from the left) they could never stop it. He was also probably one of the most like able people in football ( unless you're irish  ). Him and Bergkamp where just so good and his return against Leeds was a fantastic moment , and I ain't even an Arsenal fan.
