Don't think, personally, RVP had a great February - August. Puts him out.

kompany, casillas, xavi get mine.

need something other than attackers in there. kompany's season was probably the best of any defender in the world, casillas had a fantastic season in goals and xavi is just xavi.

If we're going with results this year:

Drogba - Almost single-handedly carried a broken team to an historic CL title and an FA cup.

Ronaldo - Was the crucial factor in Real and Portugal's success, LL and the Euro.

Iniesta/Xavi - Were the backbone of Spain.

Pirlo - Master. Juve and Italy.

Kompany - Best CB in the world IMO.
