This thread is pretty much aimed at any American Football fan here in the UK.

Basically I live in Gloucestershire England and I wanted to try and start playing American Football properly, does anybody know where I can go or who I can contact for a local team? I've tried googling it but THAT failed!

Looks like your local team is the Gloucester Centurions. I'm assuming the standard isn't brilliant, so you should be able to get somebody to take a look at you. I'm also assuming you understand the rules, have two fully-functioning legs and an aptitude for catching prolate spheroids.

You can head onto the gridiron with such luminaries as: Levi 'Pain Train' Smith, Shaun 'MVP' Griffin and Karl 'Milhouse' Friston.
