Your favourite type of "football"?

Out of the types of football that there are, which one is your favourite and why?

Personally mines American Football.

Re: Your favourite type of "football"?

I enjoy both "association" football and American football, but association football was the first sport I grew up playing and watching so it will always be #1 for me

The difference is with association I can watch any level (EPL, World Cup down to Women's World Cup, NCAA etc..). In the NFL I would struggle to sit down and watch an entire Bengals vs. Rams match for exmple

It's different for me pretty much. I can deal with a Bills/Vikings match, but would get bored of a Southampton/Norwich match!

AMERICAN

Watched pretty much all my life. Still to this day I can't get enough of it really.

I actually tuned into a Premier League game earlier today for a bit. I must say the camera work was pretty stellar. They gave so many different looks at the field and the camera operators were much more in tune as to what to focus on and when. I'm assuming these camera crews know much more about the game than when some American company like ABC broadcasts the games. Anyway, what I saw was a much more dynamic looking product due to how the camera angles were done.

American for me as well. Absolutely love it. I love Association as well but not as much.

I've watched some Australian Rules before and had alot of fun doing it. I'd watch again if it were available.

btw if you can't discuss this rationally and without insulting others then you'll be banned from the thread. No trolling or baiting will be allowed...

... total fucking shoot.

Yes, I'm American.

Yeah I think it was that. I really don't know shit about it though. One team had blue and white striped jerseys.

Re: Your favourite type of "football"?

^ Yep, that was QPR, they were playing v West Ham.

Soccer for me. UK so grew up with it, fell out of love for a couple of years when i was on heavy drink/drugs, came back and fell in love again. I've watched a bit of Aussie rules, a bit more American, trying to get into it now we have more coverage in UK again, and a bit of Gaelic when in Ireland. Will always be Association for me though.
