I seen ones for wrestling, so why not one for sports?
Football (Soccer)
- Messi isn't and won't ever be the GOAT until he signle handidly wins the world cup with Argentina.
- Iniesta is better than Ronaldo
- Ramires is the most under-rated player in world football
- David Luiz is good.
- Garry Cahill is Englands best centre back
- Phil Jones is over-rated
- Even though i'm English, i have never supported the English national side.
- The goal that never stood in the 2010 England vs Germany match is justice for 1966. Hirst's goal never went over the line. People just want to believe it did
- The English Premier League is over-rated
- English fans are amongst the worst in Europe. They get shown up by other fans when ever a team comes over here to play an english club
- Van Persie is over-rated. pretty much, Everytime i have seen him play he's been poor.
MMA
- Michael Bisping was robbed against Chael Sonnen
- Renan Barao is the best 135lbser in the world
- Brock Lesnar was under-rated towards the end of his career
Wayne rooney is the most overrated player in the world. Just don't see the fuss over him. Plays well 1 game then is crap the next 6. Repeat and rinse.
English premier League is mostly dull.
Europa League should just be straight knockout for the whole competition. Too many pointless games.

Definitely agree with this. Europa League should be done like the FA Cup imo - one match with a home advantage drawn out of the hat. I would be much more inclined to watch it.
Rooney is absolute class though. He just hardly ever shows what he's made of in an England shirt.
Poor guy here forgot about how well the Dutch clubs are run. Only 2 Eredivisie clubs in debt and most of them value youth as their highest priority. One thing I do like about the German game is how some clubs are fan run, like Schalke. I believe that is a model that some top clubs should be using. However, its almost impossible for clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid etc to become fan run due to the expenses, especially debt.
Basketball
- Shaq at his peak was the GOAT.
- Durant won't be much better than he is right now.
- Westbrook has always been, and will be a chucker.
- When Derrick Rose returns from injury, he will still play at a top 3 PG level.
MMA
- Faber is overrated.
- Its popularity is peaking and will fade into obscurity in a few years.
Boxing
- Mayweather has always been better than Pacman.
American Football
- Drew Brees > Tom Brady.
- Brett Favre should never be in the conversation of GOAT QB.
- Peyton Manning would have had multiple Super Bowls if his defense didn't suck for 90% of the time he was there.
- Alex Smith will never be a good quarterback and he will keep the 49ers from winning a Super Bowl.
Andres Iniesta is currently the best European Football player.
Philipp Lahm is the best fullback of the past decade.
Ronaldinho at his peak- actually close to Messi.
Zidane the most influential midfielder in history.
Mario Gomez a better CF than Benzema, Higuain.

More Basketball
- Mid-range Jumpshot > Driving to the basket.
Case in point: Tyreke Evans. 220lbs and can't shoot outside of 10 feet. Did I mention he is a shooting guard? Imo, developing a jumpshot is harder to learn than being able to get to the hole.
- Jason Kidd is the GOAT PG.
- Manu without injuries is/was better than Wade.
The womens game is far more enteraining to watch then the men.
It's like a great trainwreck reality show or Wrestling when at it's best.
You got a ton of storylines going on
Will wily vets Serena and Venus make a comeback on their favorite surface or are they washed up?
Is Maria gonna solidify herself as an all time great and start a great 2nd chapter of her career and win more Slams or will her serve fail her in a big match?
Will Kim Clijsters win her final Wimbledon appearance or go out to some midcard jobber early on?
Will Azarenka or Kviota solidify themselves in the main event scene?
Will some midcarder only tennis diehards believe pull off yet another upset in Major?
The mens game right now is like a CSI-NCIS Reality Show where every episode is the same.
Right now you can already book Djoker,Fed,Nadal in the semis and the only "drama is will it be Murray or someone else that bends over for Nadal in the semis.
And it wouldn't be so bad if Federer was playing his Picasso like 2003-2008 peak but right now number 1 and 2 are Johnny Mac level awful ambassadors for the game. Nadal's grinding style is ugly to watch and Djokovic and Murray are 1st class dbags. And don't even get me started on Djoker and Nadals,Mary Piercesque unsportmanlike delaying of the serve that is far more annoying then any of the grunting the women get ripped for.
Also Nadal and Federer will never be consider the GOAT. There slams totals are inflated by the fact that they have homogenization the surfaces. No way Nadals game would ever win a Major on Pre 2002-03 Hardcourts/Grass.
I really don't see how the Women's is better than the men's. It's over in about 50mins, where as with the men's game you could get a 4 hour epic battle.
And after Wimbledon... Murray will be the GOAT! :torres
And I don't think so tbh. Most of the outrageous things I might say usually are just homer comments, but far the most part I don't really have any of those unpopular opinions.
Maybe that the Pacers' suspensions in 2004 were complete and utter bullshit and cost them a sure chance at a championship? That might be unpopular, idk.
I can get behind this.Especially when you consider teams like the NBA owned Hornets getting the number 1 pick and that whole cold envelope thing from way back in the 80's. Plus the 2002 kings/lakers series .
One thing that makes me doubt it is that if Stern was fixing games and got caught he'd be put in jail for a long ass time. just look at that referee that got busted a couple years ago.
I'm probably going to get some stick for this, but in football, I wouldn't not be against a rule change which made the goals slightly bigger. I know a lot of people say don't fiddle with the rules and all that, but I think ever so slightly bigger goals would make the game slightly more high scoring without having a huge effect on how the game is played. Similarly, I wouldn't mind it if that made the allowable pitch dimensions bigger.

You want a bigger goal size because you want to see more goals being scored?
The goal size is fine as it is, goalies are used to the current size, I can see where you're coming from since most games in the Euro this year went to shootout, but still with a bigger goal size, if one team scores a goal, the other would come right back and score another, and it would just be a mess.
