Just seems so sad and he's been unlucky this year so far with reliability. 2 points ffs.
Given Mercedes DRS advantage, as well as the ridiculously long straights in Montreal, I wouldn't bet against him winning the next race to be honest. Was made up to see how much getting pole in Monaco meant to him, despite knowing he wouldn't be starting there.

Is he taking the piss?

Button is probably frustrated because he relies on consistency, whether its race results or car performance. As for Schumy, would be great to see him win a race this year, but if it gets in the way of Rosberg getting a few more points, then I'd be against it. Do feel very sorry for him, though. He hasn't driven badly at all. I think he'll get his luck eventually.

Maldonado last weekend

Was really hoping a Lotus was going to win that race and keep the different winners going. And because I'm a fan.

Anyway, I saw Ecclestone's plans/dreams for a London GP earlier.

I'm sure the Queen would be thrilled about it. Probably even less chance than a New York circuit tbh. But I hope a video game company takes inspiration and sticks it in one of their games

I think this idea is about 30 to 40 years too late, I can't see it happening.

Well earned pole for the best driver on the grid. First since Singapore 2010. Dodgy ending to Qualifying 2 however, so he might be hit with a penalty. Hopefully not, hes earned pole.

As for the rest, great to see Schumacher starting to come back to life. Errored with terrible mistakes from both him & the car/team. Also got to think that Maldonado's car is much better than Senna's. Don't see Button sorting out his problems this season. Completely tyre related, and Pirelli won't be changing them.

Wet races are usually great fun, hopefully continues tomorrow. Don't have my hopes up high however, considering how intense the rain has been.

Really glad Webber won. Long may it continue him taking it to Alonso. I'd love Webber to win the world title. I doubt it'll happen but I hope he can manage it.

After the awful last season, when I completely stopped watching, I really enjoy this season. So many new blood like Di Resta and Maldonado are promising prospects.

Best part of that GP was Perez rant about Maldonado! And glad to see Webber win if it wasn't going to be a Brit, that guy is long overdue a championship season!
