Re: F1 2012 thread
Good to see so many different winners this season and good to see a Williams win a race again. Good drive from Maldonado too

Re: F1 2012 thread
Don't understand Maldonado's bad rep. Won GP2, and while he had a very lacksture season last year, hes overcome that disappointment, won a race with some immense discipline. Its too soon to say hes a great driver, and while we are on that, Bruno Senna is probably his equal. But, getting hounded by Alonso & Raikkonen, tyres needing nursed. He drove perfectly under pressure.
Hes proved his worth as a pay driver. That win will be worth its weight in gold for Williams.

Re: F1 2012 thread
And the weekend just gone proved why Maldonado has his mass of critics, he's fucking bipolar or something.
In other news, I really hope the Di Resta rumours are true and that he's off to Ferrari or Mercedes. Give him a car capable of winning races, he'll win races, simple as that.

Re: F1 2012 thread
6 winners in 6 races, it's brilliant to watch this season as opposed to last years procession races. Would be nice to see if the winning list could grow to 10 from 10 or something crazy like that (Kimi, Lewis, Schuey, and idk...Ricciardo )

That would be crazy if it actually happens. As it is, I'm expecting the first repeat winner in Canada, like Vettel or Button. Maybe Alonso if we get some rain or the changes made to the Ferrari are good for the combination of short straights and chicanes around Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Re: F1 2012 thread
It's likely but Lewis has been up there all season and if the pit crew don't fuck him over he has a great chance of the win, same with Kimi. Don't count out Perez either

Oh, no doubt, they've all got a really good chance of winning, especially with all of the parity in F1 this year. It's like we're returning to the late 80's/early-mid 90's in terms of who can win and when.

Re: F1 2012 thread
Is anyone else like me where they used to hate Schumacher (and all his dominance), but now they really want him to win a race?
Just seems so sad and he's been unlucky this year so far with reliability. 2 points ffs.
