Encouraging to see Schenn make the club. But I really hope its only for the 9 games before his contract kicks in. I really think he'd benefit playing full minutes and possibly Captaining Kelowna and Team Canada this year.

I'm on the fence with Schenn. I can't see him getting much better by playing in Kelowna because the players there wouldn't challenge him the same way NHLers would. Wilson also seems like the type of coach that would do wonders for young developing players.
He's looked like one of their top defecemen throughout the pre season and if he could be in the top 4(With White maybe moving up and injuries) I don't see why they don't keep him on the main roster.
These 9 games could change all that though. He hasn't played a game with all the "big boys" and if he isn't able to keep up with the stars, then he needs a bit more seasoning.
