The Minnesota Timberwolves aren't holding onto O.J. Mayo for long.
Two league sources told ESPN.com that the Wolves have reached an agreement in principle with the Memphis Grizzlies that will send the draft rights of Mayo, Marko Jaric, Antoine Walker and Greg Buckner to the Grizzlies in return for the draft rights to Kevin Love, Mike Miller, Brian Cardinal and Jason Collins.

Wow, I love KP. Getting Bayless is huge for us and as I predicted in the official draft thread, Portland would become winners. Wow, I am one happy fan right now.

Ahhh the Lakers can finally win the championship next year... They now have a Kentucky player. The last 5 champions have had a Kentucky player on the roster

Re: Official NBA Offseason thread
The Celtics picked up three players in the draft. They picked up J.R. Giddens, Bill Walker, and Semih Erden. Giddens and Walker both have lottery-type talent but they are both risks with Giddens having off court issues and Walker tearing his ACL. But they both can be steals for the C's if it works out. And Erden has some upside, so he is nice pick for the C's. But you won't see him for a year or two in the NBA.

That's a smart move...he got the player he loved, got Mike Miller and got rid of Antoine Walker...that's a good deal

It's Official Greg Oden is eligible to win the Rookie of the Year award in the upcoming season. Since he didn't play a game for the Blazers last season, he's technically still a rookie. And that's bad news for Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley and O.J. Mayo.
|
This could be the closest ROY race ever with 2 #1 draft pick going for it.
