Hleb is already thought to have agreed terms for his move to the Nou Camp and Barcelona officials are now deep in talks with Arsenal to decide on a fee for the 27-year-old.
The Gunners value the Belarus midfielder at around the Ł15million mark but Barca are keen on a player-push-cash deal and have offered Wenger the chance to team up the Toure brothers at Emirates Stadium, according to the Daily Star.
Wenger is in the market for a defensive midfielder following Mathieu Flamini's switch to AC Milan and has long been inked with a move for the younger Toure brother.
The Frenchman actually passed up the opportunity to sign Yaya after taking him on trial three years ago, but the 25-year-old has had an impressive season with Barca and Wenger is keen to get him on board.
And the player himself would jump at the chance of a move with new Catalans boss Josep Guardiola signing Sevilla's Seydou Keita to play in his role.
Yaya said previously: "I am conscious of interest from certain Premier League clubs.
"I can't say anything for the moment, but it's true that it would be great to play for a big club with my brother. That would be fantastic, but you never know."
Barca will still need to pay a sizeable chunk of cash to land Hleb as the Gunners are lining up a big-money swoop for Marseille wonderkid Samir Nasri. But the deal to take Hleb to Spain could be completed within the next seven days.

Could he be the midfielder that Arsenal are looking for. Hleb to Barcelona, i really think he could suit a team of that calibre and we all know Yaya is a very, very good player and it wouldn't surprise me as he has been linked with Arsenal in the past!

Ah Fuck Yaya Toure. He's very average. Wenger could have had him years ago for a nominal fee, and he turned that down, so there is absolutely no chance he'll cough up about 10M for him now, and too right. Yaya Toure is little more than a physical presence and there are so many better options than him.
Also, despite Hleb coming out and saying otherwise, I still think he's leaving in the summer. He's good friends with his agent, so I don't think he'd just let his agent spread lies about, so I feel there must be some truth to what the agent has been saying. Also, even his statement rubbishing the rumours seemed like a 'final tribute' to the club thing so to speak. Particularly at the end when he said, 'As long as I'm playing in England, it will be for Arsenal', which is exactly what Henry said before leaving for Barca. Hleb will likely be an Inter player next season.

I don't know how you can say Yaya Toure is very average. He has been great for Barcelona this season everytime i have watched him. He never panicks on the ball and just seems like an all round good holding midfielder and in all honesty. Arsenal don't have anyone better in that position and it would be hard to find alot of players who are proven at the level of Toure is as good as him without paying the sort of money. Arsenal don't seem like they want too pay
Just heard somewhere that Torres has came out and quoted that he wants to stay with Liverpool for many, many years. He is thrilled from the interest of teams such as Chelsea, Barcelona and Arsenal ( ) but he wouldn't leave Rafa like that. So good news Liverpool fans but since when was he linked to Arsenal?

Yaya Toure is pretty average, there are a stack of holding mids I'd prefer over him.

The Tabloids need to come up with something to fill the pages during the Summer.

Ribery will not be leaving Bayern, he is on MONSTER wages. Probably as much as Ronaldo is on.
And Yaya is one of the players that Pep wants to keep, so I don't see him going.

O rly I already thought they had enough to do with "Insert Person Related to Ronnie Here" has said Ronaldo will join Real Madrid etc.
Tabloids never cease to amaze with their bs.
Especially Marca and THE SUN.

Marca isn't so much a tabloid as it is a Real Madrid tapping up tool.

Re: Official Rumours/Gossip/Transfers/Pre-Season Discussion Thread 08/09
So now we have Scolari urging Ronny to go, along with his Godfather saying the same thing, both telling him along the lines of Real only come knocking once, which doesn't make much sense seeing as this is the 3rd summer in a row we've had this little drama.....
And then on the same day you have Ronny saying how he wants to become a Utd legend.
