Materazzi is just pure comedy. He's just a thug that was awarded a football shirt, and talent on set pieces.
Aquilani would be a fabulous signing for just about anyone.

Carragher is my hero, so I can overrate him all I like.

Anybody see Alex Ferguson yesterday i believe on SSN when he said Real Madrid have no moral issues regarding the issues with Ronaldo. That tells me someone is worried about the possibility of Ronaldo leaving.

I think he's probably just annoyed.
As much as I'd love Real to snatch Ronaldo and destroy United Fans, the way they're going about it is extremely unproffesional, and they should be told as politely as possible to shut up.

Maldini and such are dirty too their own extent. Like when they need too they will kick you sneakily and can do it well without getting caught. For e.g. in the champions league. An occasion were Maldini and Walcott were going at each other and Maldini was able to kick Walcott in the box, fall himself and win a free kick
|
Perhaps, but that's more clever experience showing that dirtiness. Obviously kicking at him is dirty, but raising arms, grabbing shirts, winning ball and man in the challenge, and kicking behind play are things normally likened to dirtiness. And these aren't things Italians (other than Materzzi of course) are known for. I suppose your right in saying their dirty in their own way.
Also, on the note of Carragher, I've noticed a couple of times in the season just past he goes to ground when he's closed down. Much too easily, imo.

Re: Official Rumours/Gossip/Transfers/Pre-Season Discussion Thread 08/09
Alot of players feel more comfortable going to the ground, rather than trying to chase. Mascherano in particular doesn't wait to see if someone is going to run past him, he just slides in. A few times, he will miss out, but if you get it right it ends up an effective tactic.

Everything Fergie said about Real is true, they are a club of no ethics whatsoever. Scummy club.
I've noticed Carragher diving a bit this season when people are pressuring him from behind. Is that what Novus was getting at, anyway it annoys me.

I said this in the other thread but feel it may be better in here. Right, i cannot remember were i heard it therefore do not have a place to base this information on but i read/heard/seen somewhere that Rangers youngster, John Fleck has Manchester United and Chelsea chasing after him.

^ Yeah, that's it. I suppose it's harsh to pay him out for that given how many players do it, or similar things. Perhaps I should compile a list of these players and pay them all out
