And Finnan isn't fast either. So yeah, he is like Finnan, except nowhere near as good.
I'd laugh if Chelsea sold both Anelka and Drogba, if Drogba isn't there, then Anelka might actually start more in his correct position, and will surely score more.

Finnan is fucking quality, somehow get him fit and we don't need a right back.

At Finnan's age, if you don't buy another RB, I'd lolz coz there'd be no title for you again. Old and injury prone, and there are a ton of RB's I'd take over Finnan anyways.

Sorry but I think Finnan wont be needed next season, Degen, Arbeloa and Insua are pretty much ready, awesome servant an all, but I think his time is up.

Degen won't improve you either.

The talk about Dossena moving to Liverpool is really pushing strong, hope it comes true.

Dossena is meh. I heard Liverpool were linked with Rafinha a while ago, he is top draw.
Also, i'd mark if Mourinho became the new Chelsea manager.

We're linked with both, but it looks stronger that we'll get Dossena, though nothings confirmed.
Mourinhio will end up somewhere else, don't know if he'll go back to Chelsea.

If Mourinho goes back to Chelsea, after what he said, it really would just hammer home the already obvious "Money can buy anything" motto Chelsea seem to go by.
Pity that didn't happen the last 2 seasons

Re: Official Rumours/Gossip/Transfers/Pre-Season Discussion Thread 08/09
Personally I feel Finnan has had a very sub par season, especially for Liverpool want to be which is top 2. I'm not convinced of Degen, mainly cause I've hardly seen him, I suppose you can't lose on a free transfer, but I think Rafinha would be a very good addition to Liverpool and he should have been signed instead.
He's attacking and more a wing-back than a fullback, but in England, left winger which would punish that attacking instinct are few and far between. Also, Mascherano's brilliant at covering pockets of space made by defenders attacking, so it wouldn't come at too much of a cost really. Besides, it's not like he's completely incapable of defending, he's a quality all round wing-back.
