Niko Kranjcar insists that he is happy at Portsmouth and has no desire to secure a summer transfer.
The Croatian international is reportedly attracting interest from Arsenal, with the Gunners keen to find suitable replacements for the departed Mathieu Flamini and unsettled Alexander Hleb.
While Arsene Wenger appears to have turned his attention to Marseille's Samir Nasri, an impressive display during the upcoming European Championship could see Kranjcar top the shopping list of a number of top clubs.

I highly doubt he'll go to Arsenal.

I'd be happy with Dossena, not sure on Riera. Their are more players we are linked with, I won't bother until it actually is a done deal.

I've only seen him play a good one time, but I don't recall him being particularly quick or slow, but from what I've heard recently, he's rather quick, with his pace and willingness to attack being the main praise given to him.
As for Riera, he was quality this season, but he's had a crack in English football and was less than impressive. He could be handy though, as Liverpool do need a legit left winger, as their only options there are all right footed. Wait.... I forgot about Riise..... Oh wait, he's shite

I thought he was leaving.
Pretty sure Eto'o will leave Barca this Summer so this seems likely.
Quote:
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has set his sights on securing one of Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto'o, Emmanuel Adebayor or Amauri.
Ancelotti is keen to bolster his side after it finished the season fifth in Serie A, 21 points behind champions Internazionale.
Chelsea's Drogba has been persistently linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after he confessed his desire to quit the club in an interview with France Football magazine shortly after former boss Mourinho's Stamford Bridge exit last September.
Barcelona forward Eto'o, meanwhile, is reportedly unsettled at Camp Nou and looks set to part company with the Primera Division club in the summer.

I remember there being plenty of rumors about him going to the likes of Villa and Newcastle last transfer window, wouldn't be much good to Villa at at all.

Drogba will probably go to Milan.
Pretty irreplacable but we'll see who we get in.
I expect quite a few in's and out's this summer.

Most of the rumours that go around though are laughable.
I definetly expect Drogba to leave & Anelka, so you'll need to bring in some more firepower up top for sure.

Re: Official Rumours/Gossip/Transfers/Pre-Season Discussion Thread 08/09
Degen is not fast. He is slow. Every Borussia and Swiss fan I have spoken to has said so. He may have a decent burst of pace when overlaaping, but he isn't fast.
Riera didn't mesmorize me when he was at City, but has been good this season. He'd probably just be another Mark Gonzalez.
Dossena as I keep repeating would be an excellent signing.

If Riera is the man you are getting to solve the left wing issue that will be pretty funny.
Degen won't improve you either.

Degen is just like a younger Finnan really.
Not saying Finnan is poor coz he ain't but he's not really a class defender like Pool should be after. Dossena is a good player tho.
