Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
I think the Spurs fucked up hitting West like that, now the entire Hornets team will be pissed, Paul will be pissed, West and Chandler will be pissed, and their in home court...the Spurs are royally fucked.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
I know that hometown officiating is a part of the NBA, but I think it's starting to get outta control and bad calls becoming more and more noticeable against road teams on a consistent basis.
The FT disparity going on right now in the Cavs/C's game is crazy, like 19-5. It just happens too much IMO and is one of the main reasons I think that the NBA has seen sagging ratings for the playoffs compared to the other sports. Just too many whistles and bad calls.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
^^^^ I heard the ratings are up for the NBA playoffs all across the board.
As for this game Boston just shoots to many jumpers on the road thats why they lose the FT battle so bad. I mean Garnetts best move is a fade away jumper. That charge call on Pierce was AWFUL though.
I am a Celtic fan, but I have a very bad feeling about game 7. They could have lost any of those three games at home so far, and I just don't trust Garnett or Pierce in a BIG game.

The game ended on that bullshit charge called on Pierce.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
I knew this was going to 7 games. Boston's definitely going to finish it off at home though. But I think they really needed to win tonight to get some kind of rest of the Pistons.
I have a feeling the Lakers are going to wrap this up tonight. The pace they are setting is showing they are serious about ending this tonight.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
The refs absoloutely handed this game to the Cavs, 2 horrible calls in the last minute and the charge on Pierce was perhaps the worst call I've ever seen in my life.
Just horrible.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
I think the NBA wanted this series to go 7, King James vs The Celtics in a Game 7 equals big ratings on Sunday.
I just saw that play again on ESPN that was called a charge on Pierce, it's even more unbelieveable when you see it again. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that was one of the most obvious bad calls of all time.

The Lakers are killing the Jazz and I don't think the Lakers will let up. From the start they've established dominance.

Utah will come back, but the Utah fans prove again why they rule...I love the "Refs you suck" chant XD
