Don't matter if the Spurs win or not. Either way the Lakers are going to the finals.

That’s a good question. I’m trying to think of the age of everybody. Cody and Teddy are young right? Kenny Dykstra (who’s 22) erm . . . I knocked him out in Australia, actually, one time. He was drinking and thought that he would f—k with me, and I warned him and I slapped him so hard in the temple, I knocked him out. I never liked him at all. And everyone always told him “You’re the next Randy Orton.” F—k that. Make your own name. What does that mean, anyway? I slapped the s—t out of Kenny Dykstra. And I don’t even know where he is right now.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
I have confidence that the Spurs will win. In big games i'll always go with Duncan, and Popovich. Plus they don't play until Monday and that will help the older team. All it takes is a solid 3rd quarter. Also David West got hurt pretty bad and that will play a huge role in the outcome.

I expect Chris Paul to have a MONSTER Game 7, and lift the Hornets to victory in a close one.

Don't think it'll even be close. Just like the most of the other six games the home team will have a monster 3rd quarter and the game will end in a blowout.
But Headliner's right, the Lakers are going to the Finals. Unfortunately for David Stern, so are the Pistons.

David Stern will fix Lakers vs. Celtics.
I can't imagine how much advertising would go into "reigniting" the Laker/Celtic rivalry.

Byron Scott on Horry:
“I’m not real OK with it,” Scott told Yahoo! Sports. “But if I didn’t know Robert on a personal level, I’d say that was a dirty shot. Yeah, if I didn’t know him the way I know him, I’d say it was a cheap shot.”
|
I don’t really see it as a cheap shot, but I see where Scott is going here. He is trying to rally his team and the city of New Orleans around this and benefit them on game 7. Spurs was in complete control of the game when that happened and its not like his hit last year against Nash where the Suns were still capable of winning the game. I thought even that hit against my boy Steve Nash was not dirty, its just stupid how NBA handled the suspensions. I think John Stockton gave harder picks than that.
That hit will benefit NO more than the Spurs, because I think West will come out big on Monday since he has 3 days to rest that back. And you have a raucous NO crowd on the Spurs face after what happened. How bout some “Spurs are Dirty” chants in the big easy! Its gonna be an exciting game 7.
