I dont know why people are so critical and acting like the Celtics are losing this series instead of the Cavs winning it. Let's not compare the reg season road record to the playoff..its a totally different atmosphere and that they are facing one team for at least 4 games...so adjustments are made and they are being well scouted... playoffs is a chess match.
Celtics needs to make some adjustments and decide on Ray Allen's ineffectiveness. Pierce is their go-to-guy, and they are taking a lot from him by guarding Lebron the rest of the way. If Im Doc I would put Posey on the starting lineup and have Allen come off the bench or have Allen play PG which I can think he can do better than what Rondo is doing so they cannot leave the PG on defense to help out. Delonte West nor Gibson aren't quick enough to be a disadvantage for Allen on defense.

Another thing is they need to find a good legitimate PG in the offseason... Nelson, Arroyo and Dooling wont cut it. They are all offensive minded PGs. We can see how a good PG can take control of the game especially with a young squad in New Orleans. Youth is not a disadvantage anymore, but they have to find a leader.

JJ Reddick ftw.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
Anyone else get the strange feeling that the Hornets will win in SA tomorrow? I don't know why, but I feel they have the best chance to break this "Home team win every game" thing, if West plays as well as he did last night, Spurs are fucked in the ass >_>

I think it very much depends on what physical condition David West will be in. If he's 100% (highly doubtful) or even 80%+ I can see them winning in San Antonio. On the other hand it would be a mistake to write the Spurs off just yet.

Ray Allen is a poor defender plain and simple. He's going to have a hard time guarding anyone one on one. I do agree that adjustments have to be made. I like the idea of Posey in the starting lineup and Allen coming off the bench.

All the Hornets need are for the entire team to hustle, and for Paul and West to play at 80%...and they'll eliminate the Spurs tomorrow.

Spurs will win in 7. If they played one good 3rd quarter in the 3 games at NO they would of alread won the series. Tony Parker has played awful on the road in this series. If TP plays in NO they will win in 7.

True, but you really think Lakers can steal a game in Utah?
