Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
Wow Lebron with only one field goal so far and Boston looks good. Rondo especially stepping up for the Celtics, but Ray Allen struggling.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
The Big Three not really doing anything, except Garnett. Seems like it's the role players doing all the work for both teams.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
Yeah both teams look pretty flat from an offensive standpoint. You can already tell this is going to be a great defensive series, this game has reminded me of those classic Knicks/Heat series from the mid-late 90's.
Cavs have to be happy with LB only making 1 FG and yet only being down a point after the 3rd quarter. But keep in mind, Pierce and Allen are both struggling as well for the C's. KG, Rondo, and Perkins have really carried them thru this game so far.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
Both of these teams are taking way too many jumpshots, and the officiating has been almost as bad as the games in Atlanta in the 1st round.
Totally phantom over the back call on Perk.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
Very low scoring game as well. Both teams will probably end up with less than 80 by the end.

I'm excited that my Hornets are in the play-offs! That never happened with the Jazz. Unless it was the 70's.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
That was one of the strangest games I've ever seen, huge win for the C's. Ray Allen doesn't score a single point and the C's still win.(They scored 25 pts in the 1st and only 51 in the last 3 quarters and still win as well)
Lebron only makes 2 FG's and scores 12 points, and the Cavs only lose by 4. Pierce doesn't have a big night either, KG and Ilgauskas were the 2 best players in this game.
This looks like it's gonna be a dofight of a series.

Re: 2008 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread
Lebron misses another clutch shot. What else is new? And a layup at that.
