So could the Celtics really, they had him even before the Suns did.
Here's the thing about the Hawks, they are way better than anybody give them credit for. They're athletic as hell and Johnson, Smith, and Bibby combined for like 75 points tonight, there gonna be hard to beat with production like that.
What I can't believe is that the Celtics had double digit leads in the 1st and beginning of the 4th, and Atlanta still didn't wilt. Hell, the game started 16-3 for the C's, and I already figured that the game was over.
Plus, the crowd had a huge influence and the officating was really beneficial to the Hawks in both games. I've already stated how I feel, it's just ridiculous and I'll leave it at that.
Boston figured after the hot start that the Hawks would fold, and they just didn't. Johnson played an incredible 4th quarter and put the team on his back.
The problem I have with Atlanta is the cockiness of Horford and Smith, they really deserve to get knocked down and yet Pierce gets fined for his menacing gesture.
The officiating is the one thing that really holds the NBA back from being as big as the NFL or MLB, it just affects the game too much.(Plus it doesn't help when you could pull 3 joes off the street and they could call a game better than most current NBA refs)
All things considered, the C's have to play with fire and desire in game 5. Cause I'm not sure with the way the series is being called and how hot the Atlanta crowd is, that they can win a game in Atlanta.
This Atlanta team is also reminiscient of the GS team that beat Dallas last year: Young, Athletic, Hungry, and they have nothing to lose.
I just want a well officiated game 5, it's hard for me to watch these games where one team gets all the calls and it's painfully obvious.
