I wouldve marked out big time if Lakers would have taken Game 2 last night after that amazing comeback.

No not 28, but 22 in game 6 against the Hawks and lost by 3.

The Bulls have offered Suns assistant GM Vinny Del Negro their head coaching job and he is prepared to accept.
From having the right fit coach in D'Antoni to a seasoned coach in Doug Collins to who? Vinny Del Negro? Yes he was an assistant to Mike in Phoenix...but hey everybody starts from somewhere...i just hope for the Bulls that this is not the start of horrible decisions to come.

As for Phoenix picking Terry Porter, I like him as a player but never really established himself as a good coach in Milwaukee. But come to think of it they dont have much choice anyway.

Round 1 vs the Finals. Clearly equal.

So the rounds make a difference? It's ok to call a terrible game in the playoffs but shrug it off because it's the 1st round? No, that's no right. Yeah the Finals are more important, I'm not arguing that but still calling a game is calling a game. Just because it was the first round shouldn't and doesn't make it right that they called terrible calls but that just shows it happens all the time and people need to just get over it.

Where did I say it was ok? Dont put words in my mouth. But you simply cant compare the two. You were playing an 8 seed that you should have beaten in 5 games tops. It should not have even gotten to 6 games.

The refs gave Boston game 2. Period. Just make the free throws even (24-24) and what happens? Lakers win by close to 20.

If you can't compare the two, then why'd you say "Yes, Im sure the Celtics were at a 28 free throw advantage at ANY point in these playoffs. lol" That's basically asking me to respond to prove that they have in these playoffs, which they have, if they hadn't, then it'd be different.

If the FT were even, Boston wouldn't have been playing so laid back in the 4th and LA would most likely not have gone 7-9 from three point land. Making the game even doesn't mean anything because anyone who watched the game knows Boston stopped playing D and was getting all fancy and complacent. No one knows what would have happened if it was close in the 4th.

If that had happened against the NBAs golden boy Lebron or the Pistons in the ECF Id agree with you. But it happened against the Hawks in a game that shouldnt have been played. You take away the last few minutes of the game where the Lakers got 6 gimme free throws, and the numbers stand at 30-2. 30 to freaking 2. Im sorry, no amount of play can overcome that kind of disparity.

And btw, in the game 6 you were talking about, the Celtics still got 25 free throw attempts.

Stop making excuses for the Lakers. The Celtics were the better team last night, plain and simple.

lol, ok. Go ahead and ignore the 15-8 Laker lead and the 41 pts scored in the 4th. Thats 54 points in roughly 19 minutes. The other 29 was all refs.

At the height of the Celtics lead, 96-73, they were 24-30 from the free throw line. Lakers were 2-2.

23 point lead, 22 point free throw disparity.
