I think all the baseball fans left when the Angels, Cubs and White Sox got eliminated. What a game today. Can't believe Phillies won the way they did.

IF I had to root for anyone to take it ALL this year, it'd be sweet to see Tampa Bay go all Florida Marlins on us.

Daisuke Matsuzaka needs to go more than 5 innings for the Sox tonight. His game should be very simple, dominate like he can do, then don't go picking at the corners and put guys away. That alone would get him into the 6th if not the 7th. That is my only qualm with him. He could easily go 6 or 7 but because he makes himself throw more pitches he has trouble getting that far. This is the time to buckle down, I don't want a repeat of last years playoffs with him.

Dice-K needs to stay away from walks and I think he will be alright. Tampa would be the wrong team to give free bases to.

After a miserable ALDS I feel Dustin Padroia will break out the lumber for this series.

Pedroia needs to be a big player in the LCS. I'd also like to see Ortiz play a little better. He died off after last years LDS, so maybe this year he'll have a big LCS.

Phillies are on a run here, was 1-0 Dodgers in the bottom of the second with 2 out then Philly scored 4 unanswered runs. Manny better spice things up come his next at bat.
