Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
Thats good for them, both are going up. Hopefully Halladay can be like the Halladay from 03/04. If he is the Jays will be serious contenders.

Well Halladay is only good for 1 game of every 5, they`re going to need consistent pitching for the other 4 starters as well.
Just flipping the Jays Game on now, missed an inning and a half. 1-0 Sox, atm.

The Reds with another come from behind victory, this time over the Phillies.

Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
Jays blowout the Sox, 10-2. 5 good starts to begin the season, definitely a good sign. Good to see Thomas getting his first of the season also, hopefully he can avoid the slow start of last season.

Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
Clay Buchholz has a pretty decent game for the Sox's. He went 5 innings giving up 3 earned runs, 4 runs overall. But he has 7 strikeouts, so that was a good sign. The bullpen blew the rest of the game. Snyder and Corey both didn't have good games. Corey, who is fighing for a roster spot, gave up 4 runs. I think that he might be gone. I wouldn't be shocked if he is not on the team Sunday.

Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
Snyder and Corey were awful and let the game get out of hand. Still, I was pleased with how Buchholz looked.

Play Youk and it could have been just 2 runs Sean Casey with an error leading to 2 runs Wouldn't have happened to Youkilis. Overall Buchholz looked pretty damn good, he needs to keep his change up down though, he left a few hanging but got away with it.
