The Angels/Dodgers game made me laugh. Second time ever a team has thrown a no-hitter and lost! Its almost unbelievable. wow.

I can't help but laugh that the Angels got the no hitter but lost, yet feel sad and sorry for them at the same time.

In the end great pitching beats great hitting but the problem for the Angels starts in the playoffs. When they play a team like Boston they have the pitching to match and the far superior hitting.

Angels have been talking Adam Dunn for a while now. I think hes a bum but if it meant getting rid Gary Matthews Jr. Id do that move in a heartbeat. With a team like the Angels, those solo home runs that Dunn hits might do some good.

The last two big FA signings for the Angels have been two OF's that were known for their great defense and some decent years at the plate in Hunter and Matthews Jr. Obviously GMJ is a fraud who was on HGH when he was with Texas and Hunter has peaked with the bar.

We better get Matt Holliday or Texiera next season. A bona fide huge bat and another solid one and this team will be unstoppable.
