Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
Tigers are gonna go on a tear. This is a progression to the mean, rather than a regression, sort of what the O's and Cards can expect. Talent always wins out.
On another note, time to buy low on CC.

Cubs are winning in the bottom of the sixth ... 10-1!!! First time I have felt comfortable turning off the game and knowing that they will win when I check laster. Better go knock on wood...

He's been terrible so far, it must be that hes having a hard time controlling his stuff. The Indians might not have to worry about coming up with the scratch to sign him if this keeps up.

Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
Jays in the 13th right now. They've used everyone from their bullpen, so anyone else who comes on is going to be one of their starters (Burnett warming up right now) or they siad possibly even a position player.
Rios base hit with two outs...end it here Wells

Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
A slug fest between Boston and New York last night. The Sox hit Wang, so that was a plus, but the Yanks got the better of the pens. Beckett pitching tonight for the Sox so it should be a different outcome pitching wise. Hopefully he can go 7-8 innings and give the pen a rest, and only use maybe Okajima and/or Pap.

Kind of have to put a little blame on Zaun for not being able to protect the ball, but yeah, that's what happens when you have to resort to starting pitchers..
