I've officially lost all interest in these playoffs with the exit of the Brewers.

Id be shocked if Lester doesn't start game 1. You've got all season to rest. I wouldn't trust Beckett or Dice K in game 1. If the Rays can actually come through in the clutch and not make any poor base running errors unlike my Angels then this may not be as long of a series as people think.

The Rays like the Angels don't have someone as good as Lester but there's a lot more stability top to bottom.

To me its a no brainer. Lester should start game 1. No other scenario gives you Lester starting in a potential game 7. This is what October baseball is all about. Your best pitcher is supposed to be able to carry your rotation if needed and that usually means going on 3 days rest in the post season.

It's Matsuzaka, Beckett, Lester and then Wakefield. I would have thought to start Lester in game 2, with full rest and have him for game 6 if necessary and Beckett for games 3 & 7 if not have him pitch game 1. Now Lester could pitch game 6 with one less day of rest.
