Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
Can't wait for Sox-Yanks tonight. I expect Sox to take two out of three.

Stop talking. They arent bad, every team slumps. And its better to do it now then to do in the playoffs like we did two years ago.
I am in no way Inge's biggest fan but thats not his natural position and he's been our best player this year. Cant believe I just stuck up for Inge.

Highly unlikely, unless Granderson gets off to a get start now they're fucked. Inge needs to step it up in the outfield. Detroit will go like 85-77.

Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
...It's not his natural position. He gets a few games in the Spring and you guys want him to be as good as Curtis? lol
And we are in now way fucked. It's still early and all we have to do is stay close to the leaders in the central.

Both teams are so bad right now i expect 3 straight ties. Neither team is having a easy time scoring.
Well except yesterday's games.

A true outfielder is able to play all three positions.

He's a natural catcher and 3rd baseman, but still outfield is a easy postion to play and he should be able to play without a hitch.

Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
Red Sox/Yankees tonight Wang vs Buchholz...I don't know about tonight, I think the Yanks lineup might hit Buchholz around, that's my biggest worry. The rest of the series looks good for the Sox pitching wise though, Beckett/Mussina in game 2 and Daisuke/Hughes for game 3.

Re: 08 MLB season discussion thread
Why is Brandon Inge even playing?
At I wouldn't rate CF as the easiest position. LF or RF are easier.
That's simple logic, as usually Managers put their best defenders in CF.
It is really early still...but the Tigers offense has me mystified. Their SP is above average while their bullpen is average. If they don't start averaging 5 or 6 runs a game, they're going to lose a lot more than anyone anticipated.
Luckily for them, it looks like the Indians have some issues. I predicted that the Wild Card would come out of the AL Central. So, that's not the start I was expecting...but it's still very early.
