Have to see who Boston call up to the 'pen. I want to see Craig Hansen, but it could be Devern Hansack.

Or could Esptein look to pull the trigger on a (very) early season trade?

With another win over the Phillies, the Reds are playing pretty good out of the gate. Our bullpen is so much better from last year and we now have one of the best closers in baseball. Plus these two new pitchers we have brought up may be the real deal and that's not even talking about Homer Bailey. I'm stoked!

Yeah, i think him arguing at the Yankee game the other day was over the top. I was just like, "Give it up and retire right now :P"

Why does Julio Lugo still have a job? I don't know why the Red Sox insist on keeping him around other than stupidly spending $40 million on him. Really just a waste of space, time, and money.

Tax write-off?

It's amazing how much money mediocre players make... it really is.

I am absolutely loving the combo of Joba Chamberlain and Marino Rivera to finish the games.

Its like instant lights out.

I like that combo as well. Chamberlain has some wicked stuff. Rivera, even at the back side of his career can still bring it. You better have the lead or at least tied with the Yanks going into the 8th inning.

Cubs win again. Good to see that they have won three close games so far. Last year they were horrible in close games to start the regular season.

Didn't catch the Jays game on TV but did catch some on the radio as I was out and a bout driving. Great win for them to finish off the sweep of the World Series Champs, 3 big wins even in the first week of their season. Thomas is looking great so far, especially in this series. He made that 95 mph fastball look like a batting practice fastball.
