2014-15 College Basketball Thread

The season starts in two days and I saw there was no thread. Gotta admit, outside of TEXAS I'm not as excited about this season as last due to a weaker incoming freshman class. As far as TEXAS, I haven't been this excited heading into a season since the year we had Durant & D.J. Augustin coming in as freshmen. Bringing back the same exact team as last season with a 5 star prospect (Myles Turner) and another 4 star prospect (Jordan Barnett).

Anyway, preseason top 25:
1. Kentucky
2. Arizona
3. Wisconsin
4. Duke
5. Kansas
6. North Carolina
7. Florida
8. Louisville
9. Virginia
10. TEXAS
11. Wichita State
12. Villanova
13. Gonzaga
14. Iowa State
15. VCU
16. San Diego State
17. UConn
18. Michigan State
19. Oklahoma
20. Ohio State
21. Nebraska
22. SMU
23. Syracuse
24. Michigan
25. Harvard & Utah

That's who we got on our schedule. Obviously UConn and SMU because of American Conference and we play them each twice. Larry Brown has done a great job with SMU btw. Let's go! I'm ready!

Hopefully the return of Jerian Grant can get Notre Dame back to the NCAA tournament. Him and Demetrius Jackson in the same backcourt hopefully for the whole season should be fun to watch.

Kentucky's most talented team, yet.

Wisconsin, though, might be the best team in the nation.

Arizona is stacked, and Sean Miller is a great coach.

Pretty sure your national champ will be one of these three.

Re: 2014-15 College Basketball Thread

My local paper is freaking out over the Memphis Tigers losing to CBU last night.

"Who the hell is CBU?" Exactly.

Marking out for, in order:
EC3
Sting
AJ Styles
The Bunny
Bobby Roode
Roman Reigns
The Ascension

"Christian Brothers" sounds like a chicken place.

Not a good way to prep for the upcoming season.
