Re: Formula 1 2014

So Bahrain not far off starting.

Looks like Mercades have really taken that Red Bull domination. Well at least a team with drivers with actual personality are on the front row. Can't see much competition other than between the two this race. Ricardo in 3rd is eight tenths off the pace.

And on a more positive note

Lewis on pole. Surely unstoppable tomorrow? Biggest question is if the Red Bulls can possibly hold off Rosberg

Currently marking for: Brock the GOAT Lesnar . Dolph Ziggler, Seth Rollins, The Network..

Not likely, when it's dry Mercedes 80 extra horse power will come into play...It isn't so effectual in the wet. It's expected to be a dry race. Also the merc engine isn't as thirsty as the renault/ferrari engine. I think helmet marko was saying merc is nearly 6 litre better off over a race distance.

Merc will be battling amongst eachother and if Bahrain is anything to go by Rosberg can't overtake.
Ferrari looks it's catching the red bull but all are way off the merc. Who are quite clearly winning as slowly as they can.
Hopefully Alo can start like his usual self, like a rocket launching from its pad and take both red bulls. Hope Massa has a good race too.

Alonso is making Kimi look like Massa. So is kimi overrated? Is Massa underrated? Is Alo just a machine? Or are his haters right in saying he's getting number 1 status haha stupid Vettel/Ham marks

Kimi's having one of those seasons, similar to 2008. He seems to be lacking motivation, and is nowhere as a result. It's disappointing, as I was looking forward to seeing a real battle between Kimi and Alonso.

Credit goes to Grosjean in qualifying, dragging that shitbox Lotus into Q3. Very impressive effort.

Lacking motivation? He's against a new team mate who's a 2 times champion, considered the best pure racer on the grid, new regs and in the biggest team in motor racing...lacking motivation? Maybe just like Massa he's putting the ferrari where it truly is but Alo is out performing the car yet again.

100% agree on Grosjean, fantastic effort. Outside of his 1st lap issues, he's a good little driver. Putting Pastor in his place. How much would he love to be back at williams right now? Lucky he has money otherwise he wouldn't have a drive. He's a maniac!

Also is anyone else watching Skyf1? They seem to be dick riding Hamilton of late :/

Re: Formula 1 2014

Great drive from Alonso, he is a fucking champ. I wish he gets another WDC before he retires.

Merc domination is starting to worry me. Rosberg could have dropped to last place on the grid and still have finished second.

So blue flags being waved at random people and a chequered flag dropped early. Wow F1 turning into a joke, I will happily apply to be a full time flag waver. So Kobe's pass on Bianchi does not count.

So Merc was running away at 1sec a lap early on in the race :/ wow! Alo with a fantastic race, out performing his car again. Massa with an unlucky race/pit stop but was silly to try to make Alo flinch at the start, he doesn't flinch he attacks. was bitterly disappointed with Grosjean having to retire, had a great weekend just unlucky

Re: Formula 1 2014

another dull race. a few good drives, alonso carrying ferrari again, but this whole hamilton gets out to a lead/maintains a lead/saves fuel/wins race is tiresome already. and it doesn't look like ending.

funny how the brits hated it with vettel but it's okay because hamilton.

Re: Formula 1 2014

Alonso putting a performance in like he did isn't as surprising, simply because it's Alonso.

Hulkenberg impressive as usual, Bottas shining again.

Grosjean unlucky, massive credit for being a points contender in that Lotus.

And Max Chilton finished yet again.
