Will Johnny Football make it Big in NFL?

Texas A&M won. Johnny Manziel did pretty much EVERYTHING Defense played horrible the first half, but 2nd were decent. Manziel is AMAZING to watch. It's being said this is his last College game before heading to NFL..

Will he do it Big? or will he be a Bust, what do you all think? I think he can be amazing, one of the best to watch on TV.. Entertaining as fck. 28-3 at half, 2nd half comeback by J. Football!

Well, it depends on your definition of making it big. I think that initially he'll be like Tannehill, but with more rushing yards.

He's another Tebow in the fact that the hype has far outgrown his actual talents.

I'm a fan of his, so I hope he does well in the NFL. I'm interested in seeing where he gets drafted if (or when ) he declares.

In what way? Tim Tebow was one of, if not THE greatest college football players of all time. His hype in college was well deserved, as is Manziel's. When it comes to NFL prospects, nobody thought Tebow would make for an adequate NFL Quarterback (aside from Josh McDaniels, apparently). Manziel has all of the rushing ability of Tebow (probably more, since Tebow relied heavily on his strength, which was mostly muted when playing against NFL players) but is a MUCH better passer. Tebow's throwing motion was known to be one of the worst ever, and this isn't an issue that Manziel has. He's also clearly more accurate that Tebow ever was. My only real concern about Johnny Football is that I can see him taking too many chances and becoming a bit of a gunslinger.

Re: Will Johnny Football make it Big in NFL?

He won't achieve Manning or Brady-level success, but he'll fare well. I wasn't sure about him due to his off-field troubles. But after this year's atrocious offense (and his performance at last night's Chick-fil-A bowl), we here at Cleveland will take what we can get.

Final Season Record: 7-9

Re: Will Johnny Football make it Big in NFL?

LOL NOBODY FREAKING COMOPARE FOOTBALL TO TIM "I SUCK" TEBOW!.. Dude was bound to be a bust, he was just lucky, I mean Who wins games with 70 passing Yards only?! WTF!.. TebowMania was overhyped, it was bound to fail on the real.. I remember that 316 game, freaking pathetic. the christians were mad and wanted to boycott NFL lmao, lame. Manziel has everything- speed, accuracy, can scramble, etc. I hope the Texans draft him first and he plays for his dream team on a Texans team.. I can honestly see him getting the best rookie in his first year, hes that talented. I can see him as Brees level.. not with Manning and Brady but close second. Hes awesome, entertaining and a real class act.

God Bless Johnny Football and the 12th man. A&M!
