Your opinion on the banning of collisions at homeplate
I personally do not think they should be taken out of the game. I've Always felt that citing the money players make as reason to keep in dangerous plays in any sport is a bit of a cop out but I do feel like it is relevant. They know the dangers of their job and get compensated accordingly. It has been a part of the game for a long time and an exciting part at that. Fans love hits in all of the contact sports.

Re: Your opinion on the banning of collisions at homeplate
Pussy move by MLB. A homeplate collision is one of the most exciting things that can happen in baseball. Best case scenario might be that fewer runs will score because players will be more worried about fines and suspensions than scoring a potential run for their team.
That's exactly what MLB needs. More low scoring games. And knee injuries from players trying to stop themselves at 3rd base. Why can't we just let the players play? They know that what they do has the possibility of them being hurt. Stop making athletes second guess their instincts.
