I heard the de-formation of Team Rhodes Scholars came from poor scripting from the WWE creative team - who are experiencing great difficulty atm due to rumoured disagreement and a rift between the group. Sorry if this has already been posted, haven't read through all comments.

There isn't a direction. The tag team division is completely destroyed to the point that there isn't a single viable candidate to take the tag team titles from Team Hell No, let alone a complete division. Orton looks like he's going to get lumped into some multi-wrestler match against The Shield at WrestleMania. Rhodes and Sandow are completely lost and aren't likely to even be on the WrestleMania card.

And this is why wrestlers have a hard time getting over. When the crowd expects certain wrestlers to lose continually, they aren't able to establish enough momentum to maintain their position on the card. The crowd isn't as stupid as WWE believes that they are. The crowd does generate impressions based on wins/loses and acts accordingly. After all, if WWE doesn't care about making them credible, why should the crowd?

By the looks of it, it looks like Rhodes' going to be face and Sandow may stay the same, wouldn't hurt to give them both a MITB Briefcase and let them run with it, would elevate both of them and give them momentum.

Exactly.. They are very talented in the ring. The reason you don't know the difference between Jimmy and JEY is because they get no air time.
