His selling is a problem but not for the reason you said. The reason his selling is a problem is because he makes any face look amazing, he can sell almost any move and make it look legit, this leads to his main purpose being to make faces look good. He also does need to drop Big E and AJ, its one thing to lose a lot of matches, its even worse to keep losing matches when you have a huge black dude helping you out.

Somebody needs to dig up that magnificent post explaining the difference between selling and bumping. Ziggler bumps like a ragdoll on crack. His actual selling is average or so

I really high hopes for Ziggler back in 2011 but this guy is just bad at talking the talk. He's just gotta improve on the way he handles himself because overall he simply comes off as lacking. He can be look to be on top of the world (title shot @ RR 2012, vs Cena MITB) but he'd still come off as incomplete. He doesn't develop any real character anymore either

Ziggler's main problem is that the only way he stands out whatsoever is by killing himself every night. The fact that he has to go to such lengths to stand out and be somewhat relevant should say enough about him and his ability (or lack of) to captivate the audience, IMO.

The only time I had a problem with Ziggler's selling was that codebreaker he took at the rumble. Everything else to me is fine. I didn't mind when HBK oversold during the Hogan match. It was the only thing that entertained me because I couldn't care less about Hogan.

I agree. He's a bumper, not a seller. You can be a good seller (Sandow, Slater), but not take a monkey flip like it was a double tag team 450º.

His selling in his matches is the problem? Nah,Him selling makes his matches more entertaining.

The problem with Ziggler is that the WWE book him poorly,Simple as that.

His problem is his booking. Every time it looks like they're starting to build him up to a possible cash in, they just book him to lose to Cena, ADR, Ryback or Jericho

If ziggler's main attraction is his selling, then maybe he shouldn't become a maineventer and be used as a jobber or talent enhancement.
I know all you Ziggles flavor of the month fans are probably blowing a gasket at me, but the last time I checked, if a wrestlers is a "good seller", then his primary use should be his talent to sell aka Job.

Ziggler's main probem is his LACK of selling....himself to the back office via politicing or what have you. But hey, thats just how wwe wants it. A bunch of nodding and smiling drones, designed to make their star du jour shine as bright as possible.

WWE is filled with 'Good Ol' Boys' in power positions. It is just how it is, and I will keep calling WWE, Pro Wrestling in USA, as well as some of it's fans out on this because it is bollox. I do notice an apparent effort being made to mitigate this somewhat, but time will ultimately tell.
