What do you mean, what if? Then he just continues this pointless, worthless title reign that hasn't done a damn thing for him. Not that getting out of the title scene means he has a shot at the world title, because clearly he has no future in this company, but I'd rather he have no title than a useless one, at least that opens up more possibilities.

Doesn't that help both wrestlers career? I.e. Wade moves out of the IC title picture and Justin Gabriel becomes relevant again. Similar to when Daniel Bryan defeated the Miz for the US title. It helped Bryan get his first title in the WWE and pushed Miz in the main event scene.
