Good idea. Barrett should be shown as a fighter, wanting challengers. I think the final three men will duke it out in a triple threat before facing Barrett at Elimination Chamber.

They need to get that meaningless belt off Barrett asap. Give him the mic, and push him up to WHC level.

Why are they having stuff like this on a show like main event?

"World" wrestling entertainment really needs to look up the definition of the word WORLD. Cause how many places in the world even get main event? Unless they decide to watch non hd quality videos on youtube, they can't even watch these shows.

And instead, WWE puts stupid stuff on Raw/SD while putting good stuff on shows barely anyone sees

What would be good to try in tournament is to have a 2 match series for each pair of contenders. except semi and final.

So 1 match on Raw and 1 on Smackdown. If they tie 1-1 they have a 3rd match on Main Event or Smackdown.

they trying to make Main Event more important. So making this exclusively on the show, they think it will be more prestige. It seems the show is focusing the most on the US Championship and Intercontinential Championship (there was even a title change on the show and two other title matches) the most, Since RAW/Smackdown is mostly WWE/WHC/High Profile feuds anyways

Raw/SD mostly WWE/WHC? Last time I checked, both show are mostly filler matches.

This and DetroitRiver's expansion idea, if implemented just made the IC belt more prestigious in two posts. Great ideas like these is what WWE creative just botch. At least this cup they have written for Barrett is half decent.

So let's predict the outcome. Who do you think is going to challenge Barrett for the title?

I can honestly not think of any credible midcard faces. Unless it's a returning Christian, but I don't want to see him with the title. I think Barrett should hold onto it and a main eventer should take it from him, like Sheamus or Daniel Bryan.
