This whole thing with Khali walking down the ramp with Natalia and even wrestling period is just a travesty. He's absolutely TERRIBLE in the ring, he can't walk, he can't do anything. The apex of his career was way back when he defeated 'Taker those one or two times and was built as a legit threat to the Phenom. Other than that, the man just CANNOT wrestle at all.

You can say, well, that Vince keeps him around cuz he's a delight over at his country or whatever, but... so what? This man has guys who can really wrestle and put on a good show (like Justin Gabriel) but he wastes time on... Khali.

This is why I personally don't have respect for Vince at all. Just because he's been running the show for so long doesn't mean that he's gonna forever know what he's doing, or even know what the people want anymore. Shoving AJ down our throats, making Bryan a joke, the list goes on.

For one, Khali is under contract so he basically does what Vince and management say if he wants to keep cashing those checks.

To your greater point as to why Vince shoves his down our throats, it's obviously profitable to keep the Indian market hooked into the WWE product. It is, of course, a business. I know we all hope and dream that the product would be based exclusively on work-rate and entertainment but that's a pipe dream. There's always going to be other factors.

I doubt it, i don't give a fuck about Drew McIntyre and he's not even that bad. Surely your average straight thinking Indian isn't blinded from his awfulness just because he happens to come from the same area of land as them?

He does actually have a cult following in India. He's the Indian André the Giant, actually. He used to gather huge crowds thanks to his size, and now, after becoming an international star (meh), he's become very popular as the hometown hero that made it.

My bigger concern is why they have 1 of their most talented divas in Natalya paired with him.

The WWE needs a new direction. It needs to get back to what it made it succesful in the past. Imagination, making something out of nothing and utilizing every wrestler and not just 1 or 2. The WWE has the talent to be great again, just needs some reinvigoration.

I like Khali but I don't think he should be wrestling now- not unless they have any plans for him. If they do plan on pushing him at all then fair enough but it would be better for his health if he just retired now rather than 'wrestle' none-matches on Smackdown. I guess they keep him around as an attraction and, face it, he does seem to get good reactions from the crowd. Maybe kids just like having photo-ops with him etc.

I second this, Drew's hometown is a 20 minute drive from where I live, and I cringe every time I see him. He's terrible.
