Re: I'm sold on Del Rio as a face
The Del Rio face turn I think has big potential, they gotta have the guy separate from his gimmick just a little bit though, and put his own personality into things. And yes, having the Rock and ADR team up for something would be huge right now.

Re: I'm sold on Del Rio as a face
The imagery of Ricardo Rodriguez and ADR celebrating at the end of Smackdown was epic. I knew the post-match was going to be great just from the photo WWE put out after the taping. I think as long as you play up their friendship, and yes, let Ricardo wrestle (forget about Sin Cara, you got a star right under your nose, WWE), this has a shot at working.

Re: I'm sold on Del Rio as a face
Del Rio's the shit. I hope they can maintain some amount of arrogance/elitism in the character, like with the nice cars (that was definitely his coolest car yesterday), but I don't know if that can make any sense. I liked Del Rio as a heel, and I'm liking him now. Hopefully he at least holds it past Royal Rumble. Ziggler's awesome, but I don't wanna see Del Rio just shat on.

Re: I'm sold on Del Rio as a face
I totally buy into ADR as a face, but the booking of this whole thing has been shit.
To make the title win look like it really meant something, they should have built this feud over several weeks leading to the Rumble, then it would've been awesome. As it is, it looks like they just hotshotted it to him, no build whatsosever.

thats why I think Ziggler will cash it in soon. When they win a championship at one of the week shows they lose them kinda quickly again.

Re: I'm sold on Del Rio as a face
Ironically, Del Rio was the first guy who I said myself that he'd NEVER work as a babyface. While I haven't seen what he's done on SmackDown!, I did like the backstage segment just before Ricardo vs Show, with Del Rio just acting like a nice guy.
Yes ladies snd gentlemen, a internet fan who just likes babyfaces BEING babyfaces!

 Right on bro!
Del Rio's face run could be the worse booked ever from here on out and he's still one of my fav WWF/WWE faces of all time because he'll always have this moment. Also, the moment where he turned face by protecting Ricardo on PPV. I loved that.

Maybe because they wang to be unpredictable, make Smackdown more prestige, and give ADR a big moment in Miami in one of the largest Latin communities. Also they dont want it to be overshadowed by Punk/Rock and Rumble ( which it would be)
