Yeah they did a great job making him a sympathetic babyface in that match, I think he'll do a great job in the role. I only wish the bookers weren't so impatient that they could've actually built up him taking the title off of Big Show as a big moment and not a random Smackdown match: I think it would've helped get the fans behind him more.

I'm not hating, you're marking. I have done nothing but state the facts, Del Rio has so far done nothing differently in his face turn apart from apologise to Ricardo. He has got 1 reaction in front of a highly populated latino audience and 0 reaction for his previous WWE career and you think he is all of a sudden a top quality babyface. Sorry but it just doesn't work like that, so far he has proved nothing and hasn't even really changed his character much at all and we are supposed to suddenly believe he is a babyface? I'm not a hater, I will give him his chance to show me he is a top quality babyface performer and if he improves then I will give the guy all the credit in the world. So far all Del Rio has shown me that he is a top in ring performer who is very one dimensional and actually quite bad on the mic and couldn't get any heel heat despite getting a major push, remember its easier to get people to hate you than to like you. If he succeeds in all of this then I will happily eat humble pie and hold my hands up. Tbh I would love for him to prove my wrong, don't see it happening personally though.

One last thing, you're the hater my friend, I have seen the way you talk about Sheamus on this forum and most of it is complete nonsense, you never have anything constructive to say in your arguments against him. All I ever try and do is state the facts as best as I see them.

How long before they realise that people just dont give a shit about him as a face either and he drops the title. Personally...If you cant do the easy job of getting people to hate you, i cant see him being able to get the fans behind him each and every week either.

If they wanted a top latin star, they should have just looked elsewhere IMO.

He's already better than he ever was as a heel. It helps a lot that they're using Ricardo as well as they are.

I'm just waiting for WWE to turn him into Cena 4.0. God help us if Cena, Sheamus and Del Rio start cracking jokes together.

You do know that he was face most of his career in Mexico? Some people are natural faces and it seems like Del Rio may be one of them. I was one of his biggest haters as a heel but as a face he is so much better.

Fuck him. Never liked him and never will, he totally sucked as heel so do as a babyface. He can`t talk a shit, can`t cut a intense promo, he has nothing good about him, except for good wrestling skills and latina nationality(cuz wwe needs to draw in mexico). They even spoiled the win in fuckin WWE.com, why the fuck did they do so? Bigshow was a decent champ, DelRio is horrible, i just hope this is a filler reign for Dolph to cash in.
