Now he is much more over, has been in many relevant storylines/feuds, fans would actually get behind him to win the world title and keep it for a few months, as an underdog who manages to defeat the odds. But if they start booking him like a top main eventer who can fight off any heel like the next Sheamus/Cena, it will flop because that doesn't suit him.

Yes. He was the underdog in every feud and match they placed him in. He always found a way to weasel his way out of matches and keep the title, although it was painful to watch with how many matches of his ended in DQ's and count-outs. He was getting far too much mic time every week, so it wasn't like no one knew who he was. He really grew a character as World Champion and from a character stand point they developed him well, from a booking standpoint though they made him look like a joke. He could never get any clean wins during his reign aside from over jobbers like Santino.
With his character now he would look like a ridiculous joke if he won the World Title. The crowd would be more concerned with chanting ''YES'' at him like retards than getting behind him as a serious World Champion. They've ruined Bryan's character to a complete comedy joke that loses all the time, and if they ever want him as a World Champion again, then they seriously need to rebuild his character. Many Bryan fans hate what they're doing with him now and I don't blame them.

It doesn't hurt to try, so.. I guess, maybe.

The no clean wins thing wasn't ideal for me, but I still have to disagree with this entire claim.
why? It's obvious. He's proven this time after time: comedy dies once he's in the ring. Besides, if the company pushed him to be serious then, here's the shocker, it would happen. He'd be serious all the time. It would be smart to keep the YES/NO thing going though. That's what helped establish him as a very over talent.

Yes/No/Kind of.
I'd much prefer a re-enforced brand-split the night after Wrestlemania, complete with a draft similar to the one issued in 2002. RAW would obviously be the strongest of the two shows (with the likes of Cena & Punk) and Smackdown can pick up more young blood (Rhodes Scholars, Daniel Bryan, Orton, The Shield). Bryan can still be pushed as one of the top guys, or part of the Smackdown Six going back and forth over the WHC. The notion of one single "top guy" is boring anyway.

Absolutely. It's simple business logic, you give people what they want. And apparently, people want Daniel Bryan. Therefore, give him to them. Not to mention he's one of the best wrestlers in the world, he fucking deserves all the goodies he can get.

Nah, Zigglers turning face at Wrestlemania. Cannot have two underdog faces.

John Cena is the bringer of the end times, to the wwe universe.

Cesaro - Bryan
Ziggler - Bryan
Orton - Bryan

Unfortunately SD will be ryback's home. They can edit out all his nonsense and make him look more dominant as a fixture on SD.

Re: Should Daniel Bryan be pushed as the top guy on Smackdown after WM29?
I hope something changes. He's entertaining enough in spots, but his ring work since teaming with Kane basic and uninspired. He needs to cut the beard and become a in-ring badass, needs to find a better entertainment/workrate balance. He doesn't have to be bland Benoit, but Kurt Angle could be silly, but everybody knew in the ring he was legit one of the best in the world.
