WWE squashing proper tag teams isn't exactly new. They'll never have a chance to build a character, don't think they've ever had mic time. Same as the Uso's, they'd rather push thrown together teams. It's the way it's been for a while unfortunately.

They've had flashes of brilliance in the ring but character wise they're sort of generic, nobody is losing any sleep if they lose a match. Prime Time Players aren't that great in the ring but have a better look and at least one of them can talk, that's all that really matters.

People don't really react to them. Same thing with the Usos. When the Usos had a match on RAW couple weeks ago, when one of them was trying to get the crowd excited and was yelling 'Ooh', the crowd didn't really respond with the 'so'. Tbh, their both really bland, neither of them is even close to the level of charisma and personality that Carlito had.
