he didn't appear on the RAW yesterday. And apparently he is not advertised to appear on Smackdown either (and Cena will replace him). Hurt? Time Off? Family Emregency? Or dare I say it he got caught blazing/bulking it up again?

He's not important to WWE anymore. They haven't been bothered to book the guy in a proper storyline in ages.

They have other stars to focus on right now like Ryback and Shield, instead of Orton.

Hes not as big as he used to be,rewind over a year ago he was like the 2nd biggest face after Cena,now he's the fourth biggest after Ryback and the second biggest Smackdown face after Sheamus.Hence why hes been in meaningless storylines and honestly I don't see that changing any time soon,unless Sheamus turns heel and/or they pull the plug on Ryback.
