He just need to RKO Sheamus and next RAW or SD cut a promo and that's it, with Orton current character a heel turn is very easy to do.

Randy Orton interferes in the World Heavyweight Championship match at the 2013 WWE Royal Rumble, and it could be Big Show defending his title against a face Del Rio and Orton comes in with a run-in and we think he is going to help Del Rio but no wait he hits an RKO on Del Rio from out of nowhere while the referee is knocked out and Big Show has no idea what is happening, Orton then sets up for the punt kick as he sees Del Rio is stirring from the RKO, Orton punts Del Rio in the skull and then leaves the ring as he watches Big Show crawl to the cover pinning Del Rio 1...2..3..

Have he return and put him in a 6 Man Tag Team Match. Orton, Sheamus, and Cena vs Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, and Big E Langston and have him screw over Sheamus and Cena. Its kind of lame or have him as the leader of The Shield.

Simple, just let him turn on Sheamus.
One thing I'm worried about is that he will never get booed. The casuals fans love him way too much, especially his fangirls.

Randy Orton will get cheered against anyone except for Rock,HHH and Undertaker.

Giving Sheamus an RKO isn't enough. He would have to turn on someone like The Rock or Undertaker to get the people to boo him.

Lol at people saying that all he needs to do is 'RKO Sheamus' after a match..
It's like face Orton has never RKO'd a face before.. In fact, he has several times before. It's even a part of his face character that he doesn't play well with other faces anyway.
This will NOT turn him heel.
He must completely turn on him, and betray him. Otherwise it'll just be face Orton feuding with another face. Again.

Orton, like Jericho, and like Christian, are at the point in their careers where a good portion of people will still cheer them regardless of their face/heel status. And I see Orton still getting strong face reactions as a heel. They'll probably try to make Orton as brutal of a heel as they can, just like in 2009, and people will still cheer him. It's similar to CM Punk now. No matter how hard Punk tries with his heel character, fans will cheer him.
