I also love it when he throws some politics into the commentary. Everything is so PC nowadays and people are afraid to say anything it's a nice change to see someone voice their opinion politically.
Are you sick of oxygen? He actually knows stuff about literally everything. Gave comparisons between a legendary rugby player and Cesaro. Just small things like that are big things in character building. Years of Cole, we knew literally nothing about his past apart from he speaks several languages and played rugby but in 1 week of JBL we now know he was a number 8. Might not seem like much but it's the little things.
I agree he can get a little repetitive but he's still by far the best commentator in the WWE right now. Cole needs to turn heel again and always sounds disinterested, Josh is alright but dull, and King is just... yeesh.
I'd love to see Booker return behind the desk though, I'll definitely agree with that. Move JBL up to RAW and let Booker back on Smackdown. JBL can replace Lawler and Lawler can... take some time off or something. And never come back.
If JBL is annoying you then surely he's doing his job? He's a heel commentator and one that is much needed. Cole and Lawler bore the LIFE out of me and sound about as interested in the majority of matches as we do when the Divas come on. JBL informs and educates, he also keeps things a bit interesting because he's actually INTO the matches that are going on. Him and William Regal are excellent commentators.
This! Lawler is by far the worst commentator on the roster. I'm glad he recovered from his heart attack, but that doesn't mean he doesn't suck at the booth anymore. He needs to retire, and leave television.

If there's anyone that doesn't need to be doing commentary, it's not JBL. The guy is great at his job. Lawler, however, just needs to go away. I'm happy he's okay and everything, but I did not miss his commentary while he was recovering.
