JBL is better than the alternative and that's listening to Michael cole and Jerry Lawler irrelevant bickering.

At least he talks about wrestlers history and can make anyone relevant not bury him because he doesn't like him.

So no JBL at commentary is great.

JBL is the best commentator right now, you can see he's putting the extra work into researching each guy to have new things to get them over with, only thing Im worried about is the fact Foley used to do the same thing when he was on the mic and lost interest after a few weeks of Vinces insane jabbering in his ear, hope JBL is getting a little more leeway.
LOL at anyone thinking Booker was better, Bookers commentary is hilarious but only because he sounds legit retarded, definitely wasnt laughing with him when he was doing it.

Ok I can concede that I maybe used some strong language in my OP, maybe I just found it a bit repetitive that he only seems to talk about Orton, ADR, Justin Gabriel (who I do admit could do with being put over a bit) and Cody Rhodes. I think he does make a good heel commentator and with his wealth of experience in the business is someone who should be listened to. But "best thing in the WWE right now"? Think that's a little strong. And he certainly doesn't "call everything straight down the middle". Maybe he will grow on me. It took a while for Booker to grow on me. Ditto Ziggler and Daniel Bryan. I never doubted their talents, just their promo and out of ring stuff. I actually quite like Bryan's gimmick now. (Cue all the Bryan marks to be up in arms).

So I can admit that early impressions I have had of wrestlers and commentators have changed so this might be the case with JBL. As a matter of interest anyone know how long he has agreed to be back for? Indefinitely?
