- WWE is back to booking John Cena on SmackDown tapings since the attendance has been so-so at best lately.

- John Cena has been officially added to the SmackDown tapings on November 20th from Grand Rapids, MI, and November 27th from Bossier City, LA. As noted earlier, The Wrestling Observer noted that Cena was back to being booked for SmackDown tapings due to lackluster attendance.

looks like he starts next week as he is booked for that show.
The attendance must be really bad if they are back to making Cena work at these tapings again like earlier in year (like May - August or something like that). The guy can't seem to get any time off.

That's what Vince gets for having two main brands with a slim Main Event roster.

Re: WWE Booking Cena To Work SD Tapings Again
They need to just cut the roster in half and have everybody do both shows. Rather than RAW and Smackdown live events, just do WWE live events. Everybody goes to every show and you no longer have a problem like this.
It would make the main event scene and mid-card scene way more interesting.

Just give him a lighter schedule, soon this guy will quit or get a career ending injury.

It's for the feud with Ziggler or for dark main events.

There is a serious lack of faces on the Smackdown brand so this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

Definitely not surprising at all, since it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Re: WWE Booking Cena To Work SD Tapings Again
Nobody wants to go see Smackdown because there isn't anything on it that you can't see on Raw. Raw going three hours has devoted more time to recapping the major parts of Smackdown, and all major Smackdown stories are partly seen on Raw anyways. Somebody who doesn't watch Smackdown will still know all the details about the Sheamus/Big Show fued before the PPV.
At this point, in my opinion, the best thing to do is to unify the shows so instead of Raw and Smackdown it is just WWE and put stories on Smackdown that you can't see on Raw to try to give it more meaning.

I think they should just fully accept that SmackDown is the lesser show and move all the top level guys to RAW officially. Move all the midcarders to SmackDown officially, but have two top guys wrestle each other on SmackDown each week. Basically make it a combination of Main Event and Superstars, but with actual storylines.
