We all know Orton shines more as a heel. This could be the death sentence for a guy like Del Rio. Although I always felt he could try a go as a face. It's worth a shot. Not like his heel work garners anything nowadays as it is.
Dolph & Wade would be fine. Nobody said Orton as a heel immediately means he'll take over all the necessary programs. Get the pool of heels strong. Then work on the faces, which they seem to be doing by adding Miz in the mix, and there you go. Roster would take shape once the booking comes along.

It kills their careers even further, which is why I'm opposed to it. Not in Ziggler's case, he can go fuck himself, it's Barrett I care about. Granted, he's fucked anyway whether Orton turns or not since Vince won't give an Englishman success in WWE, but it only makes it even worse. Del Rio will just slide down the pecking order even further, which is kinda sad but he's been given enough, so I'm happy on that front. He should be ahead of Orton, though, but that's just never happening in this stupid company.

This is why I think Orton will be staying face for a while, unless he moves to Raw where he and Punk can be the top heels and Cena & Ryback the top faces, Ryback is going to need someone big to feud with after Punk.
Let Barret & Ziggler be the top Heels on Smackdown with Sheamus & Miz as the top faces.

BTW they don't need guts to do heel vs heel, thats just a stupid idea. 90 percent of the time they don't work, they will lose viewers. It is basically forcing the viewers to support one of them, turning that one face, also the viewers won't tune in unless there is someone that they want to see winning.

To those saying Orton has/had more personality than Barrett as heel, he had so much more personality that during his last WWE title, Cena and Barrett overshadowed him to the extent no one can remember his reign, only Barrett making Cena his bitch.

If he does turn heel then Bryan definitely has to go full face, so it'll even things out. Top Heels being (CM Punk, Randy Orton, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio & Wade Barrett) with the Top Faces being (John Cena, Sheamus, Ryback, Daniel Bryan & The Miz). Dont know where to put Ziggler though, maybe he can be the tweener in all of this. Honestly though I'd put him in Big Show's position but I know Show aint going outta the main event scene.
