This sucks for Cody but unless I'm misreading, it's just a concussion, right? Not to undersell the long-term effects of concussions or anything but I doubt he'll miss too much time, if any. I've watched enough NFL & pro-wrestling in my life that I would put my money on Cody working the PPV Sunday. A shoulder strain ain't shit.

Feel bad for Cody, ever since they took the IC title off this guy, he's done nothing interesting until this tag team.... come to think about it, even with the IC belt he was pretty boring. While Rhodes is in way better shape than his dad or his brother Goldust, he seems to lack the charisma both of these guys had. Oh well, at least well get to see the PTP finally back in contention for the titles.

he landed on that shoulder really awkward. Looked like it REALLY hurt. But I dont see where he got the concussion, hopefully that's a misdiagnosis.

Unless, you know, someone else replaces Rhodes and the dirtsheets report WWE changed last minute due to Tensai being disliked backstage

His head also bounced a weird way when he hit the mat. It's not so much the blunt force trauma that causes a concussion as it is the brain moving around within the skull on the rebound from the initial hit. If you watch the rest of the match, it is obvious that Cody was barely aware of his surroundings. Props to that dude for finishing the match in a professional manner. He definitely has his father's toughness. If it is a minor concussion he will bounce back soon, but the shoulder injury is more detrimental to him.

Nah they'll say WWE changed it because Vince got wind that it was the plan and changed it last minute
