They should definitely go with the idea of Cesaro bringing back the European title, but only whilst he is champ. The idea being that Cesaro would do it gain heat, and once he loses the belt that person would bring the US title back to try and get over.

Have Cesaro continue to hold the US title for a few more weeks, doing his promos about touring the states and being disgusted by it's culture and society which would lead to him saying that he no longer wants to represent the fans or the USA as it's US champ. Make it seem like he has just forfeited the title and as the GM is arranging some kind of tournament to crown a new US champ, right before the very first match Cesaro comes out with the European belt round his waist and cuts a promo about how he hasn't forfeited the title and that the tournament to crown a new US champ can't start because he is still the rightful US champ on paper, but he wants to be referred to as the European Champ and represent Europe and his native Switzerland as it's champion.

He defends the title against a few challengers, R-Truth, Kidd, Maybe Mysterio or Cara before finally Swagger who would win the title as a babyface and reinstate the US title which would hopefully cement him as a babyface with the crowd.

Because he hasn't been wrestling any Americans, so far he's wrestled Tyson Kidd who is Canadian, Justin Gabriel who is South African and most recently Kofi Kingston who is Jamaican, I'd like for him to come out and say no Americans want to fight for the belt so he's changing it to a much superior continent and pulls out the European Title.

I'd love to see the third option, keeping it the US Title but Cesaro just declaring it European Title, some crappy spray paintjob on screen would a) give him some good heat and b)totally mindfuck and confuse the "USA USA USA USA USA USA" morons in the crowd ( @ the dumbfucks chanting USA during Gabriel/Cesaro)

Since the U.S. Title is pretty much a tertiary title nowadays, changing it to the European Title could be a permanent change.

Bring back the European title. I think Cesaro needs to feud with a top star babyface. So far it's been what, Santino, Kidd, Kofi and Gabriel?

Sounds like an awesome idea, it could make the midcard titles important again, since in this time they are trash and all they do with them is throw random feuds and stuff together and mix it with the title. It would be a good feud which I would enjoy to watch and I would get into Midcard Titles again.

Hopefully he brings back the EU title in change of the US soon, and Swagger as the All-American babyface comes back to change it back. It seems like there might be hope for this the way Cesaro has been bashing the US (although they always do this for foriegners holding US titles) and how they've been keeping Swagger off TV. I have a feeling if this fued happened both men will come out looking good, Cesaro already has had a decent reign anyways.

If people have this hard of time caring about the United States title why would they want it replaced with the European title. We don't need to bring back Attitude Era titles.
