Re: Does anyone even watch Smackdown nowadays?
I don't get to watch any of the WWE's programming on first-run - work scheduling. But I watch Smackdown on Hulu Plus as a standard part of my weekend.

Re: Does anyone even watch Smackdown nowadays?
Well, I don't. Friday is a terrible night to watch TV & Smackdown doesn't matter enough to download to watch later. Anything important that happens will happen on RAW.

Re: Does anyone even watch Smackdown nowadays?
I usually watch it saturday night (actually watching it right now) after recording it but most of it gets fast forwarded and can get through it in 45 mins, if that.
Fast forward Raw Recaps, Ryback, Orton, Sheamus, Del Rio, Diva, Teddy & Booker, Adverts for Uk shows.
Starting to watch more matches now as JBL is commentating

Re: Does anyone even watch Smackdown nowadays?
I certainly don't, but not necessarily because of the poor programming. Friday isn't a night I'm usually home, so it wouldn't matter what was on. That said, upon reading results, most of the time, there's not much to see anyways.

Re: Does anyone even watch Smackdown nowadays?
I very rarely watch a full Smackdown show. Because of how easy it is to find out spoilers because it's taped, all I need to do is have a quick skim read of the match listing and look if there's anything that interests me. As of right now Smackdown has tag matches, JBL on commentary and comedy segments and that's about it. The world title scene (Sheamus, Show, Orton, Del Rio et al) doesn't interest me at all. It's the flip side for RAW, the main event (Punk, Ryback, Cena) interests me but the vast majority if it isn't tag matches doesn't.
Haven't sat down, turned to Sky Sports and watched a full episode since the Smackdown after Extreme Rules, except for that episode a few weeks ago where it might has well been called the Kane and Daniel Bryan show.

Re: Does anyone even watch Smackdown nowadays?
I watch it, but 60/70% of the show I skip.
The only good 2012 smackdown that I can remember was a few weeks ago when Edge returned

Re: Does anyone even watch Smackdown nowadays?
Smackdown is worse than RAW these days, not for match quality but for filler. We all know RAW has endless recaps from earlier in the night which is bad enough but on Smackdown you get all those Smackdown recaps from earlier in the night AND RAW recaps of segments AND a large RAW Rebound package AND in the UK we get 20 minutes of "From the Vault" featuring Doink the Clown vs King Kong Bundy or something like that.
I haven't timed it but I imagine Smackdown is probably only about 40 minutes of actual "live" program, poor for a 2 hour show and considering I skip the Diva segment too I end up watching Smackdown in about 30 minutes these days.

Re: Does anyone even watch Smackdown nowadays?
I remember I used to love backstage segments between matches. In the past, I loved seeing HHH, Batista, and other world champions give interviews and taking part in different scenarios.
Fucking Shameass is so awful I honestly think he is part of the reason nobody takes Smackdown seriously. I mean, he's got the look and everything but every time he opens his mouth I fucking cringe.
