Of course he is bland, outside his phenomenal in ring abilities he is just a glorified mid-carder to me and easily replaceable. I tried my best to tolerate him but he just come off extremely forced and feel like he is just going through the motions.

And so it begins. What once was the next promising breakout IWC star, when he hit his big break with money in the bank, everyone turns on him. Dolph Ziggler went from a great in ring performer with a superstar physique and unique look to "a bland, billy gunn/mr. perfect wannabe bump machine no charisma having lower midcarder". What happened guys? :/

I for one still think that Ziggler has superstar potential, but yes he does need to lose Vickie so he can start fleshing out his mic abilities more. He does great on Ryder's show, he was great on NXT, but having Vickie basically be his mouthpiece is depriving him of what could be potential growth as a performer that Dolph needs.

He's just so unoriginal. Not very good at acting because it feels like he's trying to be something he isn't. I think he would be a better face than. Still don't think he has the charisma to be a main eventer. Great in the ring and decent on the mic.

The knowing Punk personally thread, while turning into a joke thread, had a lot of great stories in it, here are some of my Punk stories that didn't make the cut:

1) He's my postman
2) I'm the caretaker for his swimming pool when he's on the road
3) He lives in my basement
4) I taught him everything he knows about wrestling
5) He was in my high school math class but he got kicked out for cheating off me.

Moral of the story: Everyone needs to laugh every once in a while.

ziggler is okay in the ring to me and has always has been too good to be a jobber but dont see him as a main eventer yet and it is due to 3 big factors 1.his finisher scream jobber zig zag and the sleeper cmon 2.being held back by vickie she has more heat than him 3 his gimmick is cocky heel its great for mid card main event he needs to stand out more but look at how batista character evolved and john cena orton so he has time to be great

He needs to really expand on that SHOW OFF gimmick. Does he show off Vickie to the world, or just his headstand? At least pair him up with a hot girl, to make his gimmick seem somewhat true.

That's a really strong point you made there. Would have to say that I agree with you. Expanding on the "Show Off" gimmick makes perfect sense. He doesn't really emphasize the "show off" part.

This, Vickie has been getting go-away heat from he lately, the "Excuse me!" shtick and her voice are getting unbearable to listen. I always mute the channel when she comes out, and that's not a good thing for Ziggler at all.

Plus, like the quote above, Ziggler would be fine on his own, he's incredible in the ring, and he doesn't need a mouthpiece. Vickie has just been dragging him down lately, he needs to leave her once and for all.
