I can't even remember the last time he used it in a match. Not only does it look devastating, but it fitted his character perfectly as well! Instead he has replaced it with the "White noise", which seriously has to be one of the most underwhelming finishers in the WWE's history. I think it works best as a signature move.

Why couldn't he just go back to using the High Cross/Brogue kick-combination? IMO he could use the Brogue kick to finish off his weaker opponents at Raw/Smackdown, while using the High Cross in more important matches. Or what do you reckon?

White Noise is usually used as a signature move, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about there. It has more than enough impact for me anyway. It's better than a lot of actual finishers being used now.

The High Cross was/is bad ass though, so I do miss it.

It's a sword from Icewind Dale - a paladin's sword, +7 against evil. Which means it would be a perfectly named move for a heroic figure. And when they let him, you have to admit Sheamus cuts quite a heroic figure.
